Waypoints is grateful to have established valuable partnerships with several employers in the business community who provide highly beneficial and fulfilling work experiences. Since the recent launch of our Kitchen Skills Essentials program, there have been some outstanding connections formed with employers in the restaurant industry. Some notable new partnerships formed in the 2022-2023 fiscal year are: Gypsy Tea Room, Gahan House, Bernard Stanley’s, Bidgood’s, and The NL Donut Co.

The wage subsidy was a huge draw for a local business like ours, and the support from program staff made the whole thing easy.
