Preparing for a Job Interview
Job interviews can be one of the most nerve-wracking steps of the job-hunting process. Here are a few tips to keep you calm before the big day!
· Before the interview it’s important to learn a bit about your employer and the position that you are applying for so you are prepared for any questions that come your way.
· Remember to print off an extra copy of your resume so your employer can refer to it during the interview
· Ask yourself some questions. Why do I want this job? How did I become interested in this field? What do I bring to the table? What are my strengths and weaknesses?
· Prepare questions for your employer! At the end of an interview you are sometimes asked if you have any questions about the job. By preparing a thoughtful question you can show the employers that you are interested in being part of their company.
